If God had a face what would it look like*
Update on the boy in my class who I have blogged about just recently. I'll just call him Joe. So Joe had spent the entire morning yelling at his peers and telling me, something he has just recently learned to express, "I'm angry." Now, its great that Joe can express this feeling now but not following through with that feeling by pushing his classmates down or yelling in their face would be really nice. I know..baby steps. Anyway, he has by lunch completely isolated himself emotionally from his class. I sit down beside him and then he points to the little down syndrome girl behind me from another class and says, "She's my best friend." My heart skips a beat and I can't keep from smiling and giving him a hug as the little girl smiles back at him. It was just precious.

I'm so glad he has a friend! Nothing better than a friend to help one be less angry at the world.

As I once quoted at my own blog from "Silas Marner," “Perfect love has a breath of poetry which can exalt the relations of the least-instructed human beings.”
