Personally, I just couldn't do it. (Even to be European.) Lung cancer scares me - slowly not being able to breathe - like drowning over several years. Yuk!

Here are three good reasons to take up smoking:

(1) When you are in the Winter of your life you can have the fun of having a triple bypass operation and wondering if you are going to survive it.

(2) You can live 10 years like a dog because when you are in the summer of your life you make a really bad choice concerning continuing or stopping smoking.


(3) You won't have to live with guilt over the people who die because of your second hand smoke, because they won't be around to blame you.

Well I'll say it: You can do what you damn well please because it's your life and each of us has our own soapbox but if you start smoking you won't get a healthy conversation with me. Those of us who love you of course are going to care about you. Don't Smoke please.
